I didn't think it was possible for this little guy to keep getting cuter, but somehow he does!! We took Chase to the pediatrician today for his 4 month check up and everything is just perfect. He is just shy of 13 pounds (12 pounds 9 oz), is 231/4 inches long and his head is 16 inches around.
A few other details about our precious Chase:
- He loves to smile and we are even getting some giggles!
- He is still laid back and relaxed.
- He has been in the nursery twice now at church and he is taking it better than Mommy.
- He is a most excellent sleeper.
- He likes his head to be rubbed before bed.
- He doesn't care to be rocked in the rocking chair so much anymore. So when it is time for sleep I just put him in his crib and pat his behind for a bit, which makes his body bounce up and down a little with the mattress.
- He is grabbing at things...toys, faces, etc. He has quite a grip actually.
- He can't keep his eyes off of his big brother when he is around.
- He is mostly bald around the sides and back of his head, Tyler likes to call it baby-pattern baldness.
- He loves the sling now and we go out in it frequently for little walks and sometimes just hanging around the house when I want to hold him close and multi-task.
- Oh yeah..and Chase is the cutest, sweetest baby ever!

Just precious, Grandpa and Grandma think this was outstanding to watch. Sure is looking cute as a growing happy baby.
