Chase update

Chase is doing so fabulously! He eats almost 6 ounces each feeding now and is on a pretty regular 3 1/2 to four hour schedule.

Rise and shine around 7 AM and bottle

Nap around 9 AM and sleep until 11ish and another bottle

Nap again around 12:30/1 and sleep until 2:30/3 and another bottle

Nap again around 4:30/5 until around 6/6:30 and another bottle

Down for the night around 7 or 7:30

We go in around 9:15 or 9:30 so he can dream feed a few ounces to hold him through the night and then he is zonked until 7 AM again the next day.

This little guy loves sleeping on his side and tummy. I had him on his back/side for the first 3 months, but now that he doesn't care to be swaddled any more, he just turns himself over on his stomach. It is so cute, most times when I wake him up to eat he is laying there with a few fingers in his mouth and blissfully content.

Chase is officially wearing only 3 to 6 month clothes now. I accidentally put him in a 0 to 3 last week and he had trouble straighten his legs all the way! It is a little bittersweet creating his first "out-grow" box for the attic.

Chase has decided he no longer enjoys baths. He just cries and cries. I sing, show him toys, try to get him to suck on my finger...nothing works. So as you can imagine, he doesn't get too many baths. Once a week is all he really needs anyway, I mean, besides the occasional spit up that dips down in the crevices of his neck, there is nothing really that gets too dirty.

He loves his swing. Sometimes he will just sit in it and watch Tate play with his trains and other times he prefers to swing with music playing and the birds twirling. Tate is likes to tell us when he thinks Chase "needs a new song". There is a little mirror Chase can glance up into from the swing and he loves looking at himself and chattering away with his sweet baby sounds.

Tummy time is still a hit and he also is a fan of his pack-n-play. I put him in there once a day for a few minutes and use it for a nap about once a week. I want him to be used to it so we can still get him down for a good nap no matter where we are.

Here is our sweet angel making the cutest noises! OH...if you like these videos clips as much as I do, thank my sweet husband! He gave me this little Flip video recorder for Mother's Day (even though the garden was suppose to be my only gift) that I can download clips right into my computer! It is great! THANK YOU my love!
