We have added a "Gratitude Attitude" timer to our day! I got the idea from Nancy Campbell in her book The Power of Motherhood (www.aboverubies.org). The idea is we set the timer to go off every so often (every hour or two) and it reminds us to count our blessings! Thank God for the day, the sunshine, our family, our bladder control, our baby, our Daddy, our Grandmas..you get the point.
This past weekend we also finished this great picture idea from Marilyn Boyer (www.thelearningparent.com) from her book Hands-On Character Building. It is a picture of Jesus with a group of children and in place of the little child Jesus is holding we put in Tate's picture. It is hard to see in the photo, but it really looks cool! This will remind Tate that he is precious to Jesus!
