Potty trained?

This potty training thing has gone much better than expected! Perhaps things went a little smoother because Tate is 3 1/2, but he has caught on pretty quick. He is now proficient in both functions (if you know what I mean) and tells us when he needs to go. So no more timer-reminders for the potty. I do still ask quite a bit. Naps and nighttime still require diapers, but with a little liquid control, we are hoping to get rid of diapers all together soon.

Daddy even made a little song for Tate to help support his efforts! it goes like this...

Everybody poops

Everybody pees

Sometimes they do it.... together!

So lets get on the pot

And make some poo or pee

And say goodbye to diapers, forever........

OK - sorry to gross anybody out, but that is life with a preschooler! Tate thinks it is funny and sings along.

So is Tate potty trained? Lets just say I am still not planning any long trips away from home with him for the time being! :)
