Dad's Day is off to a fun start!
We began the day off for Daddy with breakfast in bed - French toast, grapes, coffee and milk. He was surprised, especially since he was still REMing.
He stayed up until 11 PM watching a boy movie (mommy couldn't keep her eyes open and forwent the boy movie car crashes, etc.).
Then it was time for presents!
Tate painted this mug at Go Paint, where you can do whatever you want to a piece of pottery and then they glaze and put it in the kiln for you. Tate painted it and then I added a few embellishments - Best Dad Ever on the side and Dad's Day 2008 on the bottom. We also put Tate's hand print and Chase's footprint on the side.
The excitement of painting got the best of me when we went to make the mug, so I made this picture frame for Chase with his little footprints on the front.
So here is the whole collection of Dad's gifts, the mug, the frame (kind of more for me), flowers in a frame and a DAD refrigerator decoration Tate made at school. He loved everything of course!
