Camping fun!

The boys went camping on Sunday night. it rained most of the day, so they didn't get going until about 6 PM. Here they are all ready to roll.

They put the tent up earlier in the day and built a small fire pit. I packed up some hot dogs, strawberries, crackers and cheese and some chocolate "candies" for dinner. They roasted their hot dogs on sticks and munched on all the other goods until they were full. They brought up the leftovers and then headed back down for a night full of Zingo, Candy Land and Go Fish.

The details are hard to see here, but there they are, down at the creek doing their thing. Tate got to do his "business" outdoors for the first time and they both slept on blow up beds, so it was actually pretty comfy. Overall, both Daddy and Tate had a grand time and they will most likely repeat this adventure again this summer.
