Tate's 4!

Can Tate really be 4!? Today we celebrated Tate's birthday. It's not official until Thursday, but today was the party, so that means today he turned 4. Here is our yearly big-boy tie shot - very cute!

We tried something new today. Instead of open presents with his friends at the party, we decided to spread out his 4 presents throughout the day. This way he can enjoy his presents one-by-one and save the party for celebrating and hanging out. 

His first present was a new batch of homemade blocks from Daddy. He digs them and played with them for about an hour straight. Now Daddy, I mean Tate, can build more elaborate ramps, tunnels, sheds....etc.

Chase got into the action along with Gizmo who was trying to share his little boppy.

The next present was a car, which always goes over well. 

 

A few hours later, Tate opened Percy to go with his duplo set. He was very excited!

 

Then a Etch-A-sketch. He thought it was pretty cool.
