A whirlwind week. Here is a brief review.
1. Tyler sends a broken disc to experts in Detroit to see if there is a chance of recovering a year old backup.
2. Dad arrives Monday evening - everyone is very excited to see Grandpa!
3. Tuesday AM, Tate goes to orthodontist to check up on an underbite we thought might be a problem (Grandpa stays home with baby and does a wonderful job!). Turns out, the tooth-doc believes it to be a slight tipping of his front teeth, instead of a jaw issue (pheww). So we will be keeping close tabs on his teeth growth once they start falling out and the permanents come in.
4. Tuesday PM, Tate gets tummy sick after going to bed - tough night for the little guy and the washing machine.
5. Tuesday PM, baby Chase's teething takes a notch up with a slight temp and lots of discomfort. Up on and off all night.
6. Wednesday AM, call Tate's preschool and find out this little "stomach bug" has hit most of the kids in his class. Yuck!
7. Wednesday, Tate is down in the dumps all day and watches lots of TV. What a blessing to have Grandpa here to sit and cuddle with the sicky. Chase has lots of smiles despite his aching gums.

8. Disc people call, my year old backup is there and they want a mere ....large chunk of mulla... to retrieve the data. Tyler said yes! This is about when I stopped writing my book, so there should be a large percentage of what I was most sad to lose from my computer.
9. Thursday AM, Grandpa leaves :(. Thanks for coming Dad! It is always a treat to have you visit!
10. What a blessing it is to serve my family! Sick or well, grumpy or giddy - while it is easier to find a well-spring of patience certain time more than others, at the end of the day I get to sit back and revel in how my cup runneth over!
