In charge

Recently, I have been putting Tate "in charge" of certain things. When Eve came a few weeks ago, I put Tate in charge of showing her around the house (as she needed to do her house inspection to keep our file open). He did splendidly! He takes his jobs seriously! Today Daddy and Tate went out for their errand/lunch date and I put Tate in charge of picking out and taking care of a new plant for Chase's room. He was very excited about his job and couldn't wait to show me his choice when we walked in the door!
