I packed up all of Chase’s extra bottles today (the ones we used to store the formula in serving sizes), it was a little bittersweet. On one hand I am glad to not be making formula, but on the other, it means that my little treasure is not a baby anymore.
I still have the feeding bottles out to just give him a few more weeks (with milk only) and then we will make the full sippy switch.
Chase is scooting a bit more and the thing that catches his fancy the most is Tate’s built train track. Tate and I even build little tracks just for Chase to destroy. They hold his attention for a little bit, but then he is stretching his little body and scotching his little behind closer and closer to Tate’s track – it is slow, but he makes it about 3 to 4 feet. I typically keep him at a distance when Tate is around, but when Tate is gone, well, lets just say Tate has been rebuilding a lot of tracks lately. For the most part, Tate is taking it like a champ and rebuilding with a happy heart!
