Think Flashdance…

My friend Christina had a party, an 80’s party, for her 40th birthday! We didn’t think we were going to be able to make it, but at the last minute our plans changed, I was able to find a babysitter and it all worked out! It was totally awesome! I might have been able to pull something a little more “80’s” together with more time, but for our last minute costume, Tyler puffed out his hair and pinned a black tie to be extra skinny (which was totally groovy in the 80’s). I cut an old sweatshirt so that it hung off my shoulder, turned it inside out and put a tank top underneath. I tried, oh did I try, to tease my hair so it would be more poufy, but as you can see, this is about the best I could do. I wore some bangle bracelets, blue eye shadow (which as you see should have been more!) and converse shoes and that was that. It was fun to see what others wore, there were Don Johnson’s, Madonna's and more…great fun! I am not sure when I will be able to get Tyler on the dance floor again, so thanks for inviting us and giving us the chance to boogie Christina - you ROCK!
