What a swell time we had with Grandmommy! She arrived last Wednesday and left on Tuesday. Unfortunately, me and the boys were in the throws of a cold when she arrived, but it wasn’t too bad. We did a pretty good job with pictures. She brought some fun gifts – cars for both the boys, towel bibs and new pillow cases (one even with Lightening!). We kept busy with the boys at home most days, especially after it snowed 14 inches – thanks to Grandmommy’s arrival, she always brings some kind of weather with her!
And, of course, I had jobs that needed her expertise – patching holy-kneed jeans, re-stuffing a couch pillow and beginning an impossibly difficult crochet project that we both lost steam on towards the end.
