Yesterday, Tate decided he wanted to clean up the living room because he wanted to “honor his family.” So sweet! Then Chase joined in on the fun and actually started picking up blocks and helping Tate put them in the wagon. Moments like these warm the cockles of my heart!
Later in the afternoon, we made a stepping stone from a kit Catie gave Tate at Christmas. He has a blast! We put both of boys handprints in the stone and decorated it with little colored odds and ends that came with the kit. It will be ready in a few days, we are excited!
Summer has been a total blast! We have been home a lot, Chase is bouncing between one and two naps (most days one, but some days he wakes up at the crack of dawn or just gets messed up like when we had people over for lunch on Sunday, the kids were crazy noisy). We have been taking lots of walks around the neighborhood, hooking up with friends, hitting the library and farmers market most every Tuesday and digging in the sandbox daily. Totally awesome stuff!
