While we were basking (I mean baking) in the sun by the pool in San Antonio, Tyler and Granddaddy were back at home working non-stop on our new addition/remodel. Things are plodding along as any home improvement project. There hasn’t been too many hiccups, but tons of work! And silly ol’ me asked if they would be putting in the tile while we were gone!! HAHAH….the framing is up, electrical lines are going in and insulation is being added. It still looks a little rough, but it has taken their combined efforts from sunup to sundown all week to get as far as they have. There was a big brouhaha over the retaining wall near the side of the house. And poor Granddaddy pulled his back on Tuesday, but other than that, no injuries a little rest couldn’t heal – thankfully!
