Tyler has been working at a Superman-like pace on the project. He has worked all day Saturday (until I left for the airport) and Sunday (I mean until about 8 to 11 PM) and today, Monday, is paint the shed day with a small travel break to re-supply on stain from Home Depot. Although it appears to be a little messy and disheveled, Tyler has made some major strides. All the dry wall is up and the first application of mud is on. The wiring is done, the lighting fixtures are in. From here, he muds some more, sands and textures. Then it is time for paint and then flooring…he says we will watching TV in there by Christmas. I believe him, he is motivated!
So for the 2 of you that are interested, here is a detailed description of what you are looking at.
The door at the end (with Gizmo) is Tyler’s workshop. So the opening to the left is a big closet for all our jackets, etc. To the right is the office space.
Here is a view of the office spaces, Tyler’s space is to the left and mine (with Autumn) is on the right.
Here you see my office space to the left and the new TV area to the right (notice the edge of the door box to help orient you for the next picture).
Here Tyler is standing (and admiring) in the TV area space (about right were the couch will be). To the right is the hall way. That little opening you see to the right goes into my new and vastly improved laundry/food storage area. If you kept walking past that laundry opening you would run into the downstairs bathroom at the end of that hall.
It is going to be sensational! My husband is SOOO talented!
