Chefs in training

I love when the kids get excited about cooking with me. Tate especially likes making cupcakes. He is actually pretty good at it! He cracks the eggs, blends the ingredients while I pour them in and works the beaters (with help). He puts the muffin cups into the muffin cup holes, scoops in the batter with a big spoon to scoop and uses a smaller spoon to help scrap it off into the muffin cup. Of course, Chase gets just as excited! This time we put together a bowl of egg shells, rice and water for him to stir, he was thrilled! Then we “filled” a few star muffin molds, which is the second to best part because after they are done filling the molds, they get to the lick the bowls!
