Chase at 2 1/2

Here are many of the fantastic things about Chase at 2 1/2.

1. You give me a “baby kiss” every time I ask!

2. You still like your crib and have no inclination to climb out – amazing!

3. Whenever you wake up, either from night or nap, your first question is “wheres Taattee?” You just love him to pieces!

4. You still suck your fingers, just to fall asleep and cuddle the green blanky I crocheted you right before you were born.

5. You love hanging out with Tate and his older friends, you rarely fuss or whine and just hang out on the sidelines and try to participate when you can.

6. You are loving books more and more. You still like the pictures more than the words, but you are great at sitting through a longer book. You often ask, “what’s that!”

7. Yesterday you walked down to the creek to meet up with your Dad and brother after nap all by yourself….

8. You still don’t know what soda, boxed cereal or candy are and you don’t care! Fruit and dates are a completely satisfying treat. I know things will change, but no need to jump the gun!

9. Tate still sings you a song either before nap or night-night and your favorite part is the kiss he gives you at the end. You sit there and wait patiently and then flop yourself down on the crib after the kiss, ready and willing to take your 2 hour nap or sleeping through the night.

10. Your favorite word as of late is “no,” but you most often say it with a smile and don’t really mean it. :) Although, when you are trying to win the battle, you give in pretty quickly and do what was asked.
