Tyler started on the boy’s fort last Saturday. First order of business was the base foundation tubes of cement, to build the fort up out of the floodplain just in case the creek overflows. It is only in the beginning stages, but Tyler says this is the toughest part, from here he can build the fort fairly quickly. Of course, this summer Tyler’s goal is merely “phase 1” of the project, which involves three levels of the base building. Then he has exciting plans for next summer; a drawbridge, a zip line, a wrap around deck, all sorts of cool things. Its gonna be awesome! Tyler says when the boys are done with it, we can add on a Jacuzzi and make it ours! :)
