Sunday before last, a plank of wood fell on Tate’s foot, not from very high, but apparently high enough. He started limping right away, however, never complained enough to make us worry. However, after a week of limping we decided to take him in to the doc, who ordered an x-ray, which promptly displayed a broken bone! The 3rd metatarsal to be exact, with a possible crack in the 2nd. Tate must have a higher pain threshold than I thought! Glad we were able to talk the doc into a boot instead of a cast, since we leave for a water-filled vacation in FL on Saturday!
