Big Big Boy!

Hard to believe Chase turned 3 this past week! Officially, he turned 3 on Thursday, but we waited to celebrate on Saturday when we could have more time to make the cake and celebrate without the busyness of the week. He was so thrilled to wear his birthday crown from sun up to sun down (taking it off only for nap). Saturday morning we woke up bright and early and gave him a mini-celebration during breakfast with a fried egg and cookie with a candle and just a couple of presents. He played all day and watched a movie, then we ate dinner and had the big celebration with a dinosaur cake, loads of presents and many birthday wishes! Hard to believe….

Dino Cake – a cake artist I am not, but the boys thought it was pretty scary! Carrot cake underneath, cream cheese frosting colored green with liquid chlorophyll, carrot rounds for dots, cut carrots for the spikes and teeth and dark chocolate for the horn.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The toy trumpet was the clear winner of birthday gifts, Chase just loves music, singing and instruments.
