Saying Good-bye To Sweet Autumn

Yesterday took an unexpected turn. Autumn, our 11-year old sweet mutt, had been acting a little out of sorts – lethargic, not eating, not barking at the UPS truck. Our first thought was that her tummy just needed a rest and she would bounce back, so we waiting for a few days. Friday afternoon I just didn’t feel things were right and didn’t want things to get worse over the weekend and not have our vet around. The vet was concerned from the beginning, he took some x-rays and quick blood work and found she had cancer. I called Tyler to come over and we had to make the difficult, but best, decision for Autumn. Telling the boys was difficult and everyone was crying and loving on Autumn to say our good-byes. Until the end Autumn was wagging her tail. Tate had 100 questions, heaven is now a more real concept. We were blessed to have Autumn as our pup, she will be missed.

God and Family are at the center of our Christian beliefs. We all lost a close and loving family member in Autumn. She will be missed but "sooo" well remembered as a close, warm, and caring member. Kathleen and I Thank God for giving Autumn to us for the last years. Such beauty is cherished by us all. Our Prayers are with the family as always.
