Last night we meet Jordan, her Mom Konda and Dad Jim. WOW - it was love at first sight! What a wonderful family and brave young lady. It is clear they LOVE this little baby dearly and want what is best for him. One of the most precious moments of the evening was when they told us the story of choosing us as the adoptive parents. All three of them went to Bethany (our adoption agency) to preview about 10 different profiles. They didn't say anything to one another while looking. Then when the time came for everyone to say which was their favorite, they all immediately picked ours! Jordan said when she saw our profile it gave her a sense of peace. This made my heart sore! God is so AWESOME and His plan is so perfect.
Everyone in their large family has seen the baby and the profile and supports Jordan and her decision. Jordan has named her little guy Liam Zan, but she is OK if we change the name.
In my haze of excitement I left my purse at the restaurant Tyler and went to after seeing Jordan and the baby. So I don't have pictures yet and there are a lot of wonderful pictures! What a blessed time with Jordan and her parents...our cup runnith over.
