For the past few Wednesdays, I have paid a few young girls – Sarah and Lindsey - down the street to play with the boys for a few hours. It is perfect, they live so close that they just walk on over, no picking up and dropping off. They dote on the boys, do whatever they want (meaning Tate, of course) and just give them 100% attention (minus the multi-tasking I tend to do a good portion of the day). Tate asks me “now how much longer” for about an hour before they come. And he requested so politely last yesterday if he could go up to the top of the driveway to watch them come down when I told him it was 10. Here he is, waiting and waiting….so cute!
In fact, I told Tate that next Wednesday I was going to take him to the movie theater (for the first time I might add) to see Horton Hears a Who? while the girls watched Chase. But he said he would rather stay home! There is plenty of time to go see movies, I would rather him play.
