Chaser...still growing!

Hands down, the best benefit of Tate going to school is the one-on-one time with our adorable, sweet, content, smiley, happy, cuddly baby Chase. After a good nap, Chase and I just hung out. We sat on the front porch, read some fun books and just cuddled and laughed. Not that we don't do these things when Tate is home, but today just seemed more relaxed, with bigger chunks of uninterrupted time. So while Tate is off playing, getting the interaction and friend-time that he needs, Chase can have more of me, which is a wonderful thing, it is his turn.

After welcoming another baby in our family, I am constantly in awe of how different the boys are. I anxiously anticipate the little boy Chase will become - as long as it doesn't happen too fast! Will Chase need the same group stimulation as Tate? Will he totally dig hanging out with mommy at home - cleaning, cooking, going on walks - time will tell!! But for now, this little sweetness of my world fills my heart with boundless joy!

What is new with our now 7 month old baby:

  • Teething has officially commenced. We have had some pretty yucky diapers and more of them along with a few night wakings.
  • He can stand up pretty well now and loves his exersaucer.
  • He is moving closer and closer to two naps a day. If he takes a third it is often pretty brief, depending on the length of the first two.
  • This little guy is still just lovin' life!
