Dad’s Dad 2012

We were lucky enough to have my Daddy here for Dad’s day this year! It was so special to have him with me and the boys!

Amazing Dad!

Today was Dad’s day! We started with breakfast in bed and presents! Tate made something new to add to his stock of goods almost every day…a crown, a card, a painted picture of dinosaurs….he loved it all! The best gift was a picture for Tyler’s office with a large mat where the kids put their handprints and decorated with their artistic talents. Tate wrote “we love you” and “superstar.” He loves it!

We have the BEST Daddy in the WORLD!!!

Happy Father’s Day

Tate and I planned to make breakfast for Daddy on Father’s Day and bring it to him in bed all week. And all week Tate has been telling Daddy to stay in bed because we are going to bring him breakfast. So around 6:30 I went in to get Tate (he was awake anyway) and we got to work. We made millet buckwheat waffles with 5 raspberries and 5 blueberries and a big glass of milk.

  Chase wanted to be right in the middle of the action.

And we gave Daddy this fun book to inspire some project ideas with the boys.

Then it was time for the rest of us to eat and the morning continued as usual.

We have some fantastic Dads in our family and we are blessed with each and every one of them.
